MYOB appoints The Iconic’s Dean Chadwick as CMO

Business management platform MYOB has appointed chief customer officer of The Iconic, Dean Chadwick, as its chief marketing officer.

Chadwick joined The Iconic in 2022 to lead the e-commerce platform’s product and marketing activities. Before joining The Iconic, he served as interim CEO of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program and held senior marketing positions with American Express. 

The CMO role was newly-created in MYOB. Chadwick will report to the company’s CEO, Greg Ellis.

MYOB recently launched a new campaign via Howatson + Company – its creative agency appointed in September 2022. The company’s media account is with Ryvalmedia.

Ellis said: “While we have a long legacy of supporting businesses across Australia and New Zealand, the MYOB of today is wildly different from our start-up roots.

Chadwick said: “MYOB’s business transformation has been phenomenal and I’m looking forward to contributing to the next phase of the brand and platform evolution.

The appointment of Chadwick at MYOB is effective from June. The Iconic is in the process of searching for a replacement for the chief customer officer role.
