MYOB celebrates business bravery in content series from Broadsheet and The Design Files

Business software company MYOB has partnered with publishers Broadsheet and The Design Files to launch a six-part content series celebrating bravery in business.

Each instalment of the series features a different small business owner who has experienced success due to the brave steps they have taken. They also demonstrate how using MYOB has helped them along the way.

The talent includes Melbourne mural artist Danielle Weber, award-winning landscape designer Phillip Withers, and Sydney-based restaurateur Junda Khoo of Ho-Jiak.

Lauren Nikolareas, MYOB brand media and partnerships manager, said the campaign was designed to celebrate inspirational stories of business success.

“We’re delighted to partner with Broadsheet and The Design Files to tell these stories of ambition, their ingenuity and creativity and their unparalleled passion for what they do. We believe the campaign will resonate strongly with other entrepreneurs and inspire the next generation of successful Australian businesses,” Nikolareas said.

The series is the first time the publishers have worked on a co-produced branded content campaign.

Broadsheet national sales director, Christina Voss, said: “Broadsheet and The Design Files have both been supporting businesses in Australia over the past decade, so it made sense for us to partner together with MYOB to showcase inspiring individuals who have demonstrated bravery in their business and accounting journey. We worked to our strengths and both publishers showcased talent that tied in to our individual content pillars.”

Lucy Feagins, founder and editor of The Design Files, added: “The Design Files has championed Australian small businesses for over a decade, and we know the challenges and rewards of running a small business intimately, because we’re a small business too. It’s great to have this opportunity to work on a project which shines a spotlight on some of Australia’s most dynamic and talented self-employed creatives.”
