NAB Mini Legend series kicks off encouraging kids to enter the draft

NAB has relaunched its Mini Legends series with the new NAB Mini Legends Draft.

The campaign features children playing football looking like Max Gawn from the Melbourne Demons, Gary Ablett from the Gold Coat Suns and more.

Created by Clemenger BBDO the campaign aims to support the AFL in developing footballers from Auskick to the AFL and AFLW, by encouraging young footy players to enter to the draft.

Young football players, who are most like their AFL legend idol, will have the opportunity to star in the new Mini Legends campaign in August.

Andrew Knott, NAB CMO, said in a statement: “We’re really excited to see the passion of budding footballers from across the country. The NAB Mini Legends campaign celebrates NAB’s support of footy, showcasing kids who aspire to play like their heroes.”

Rich Williams, creative director at Clemenger BBDO, said: “One of the resounding insights from last year’s campaign was how many children – and adults – wished they could become a Mini Legend. This was really the driving force behind the NAB Mini Legends Draft.”

The call out phase of the campaign will run throughout TV, digital, social and print from Tuesday June 27.
