Naked Sydney hires Catherine Donnelly from Hausmann to head up PR

Naked Communications has appointed Catherine Donnelly from PR agency Hausmann to lead the Sydney office’s public relations offering.
Donnelly led the Sony business at Hausmann, and joins to work on clients including Pernod Ricard, Horticulture Australia and InMobi.
Naked’s ANZ chairman Mike Wilson said: “We’re lucky to have worked with Catherine on the Sony business, so we know we’re getting the best. We are definitely looking forward to accelerating the growth of this part of the agency under Catherine’s leadership.”
Donnelly commented: “After so many years in PR, I craved working in a non-traditional environment and with people who are wired differently to us PR folk. Working with Naked on Sony was one of the highlights of my last role so the opportunity to collaborate with the brilliant minds and brands there was completely irresistible.”
“PR has changed and no longer functions on its own or in a purely traditional sense so Naked’s fully integrated offer and rejection of silos makes sense. I haven’t been this excited in years,” she said.
