Narayan Pattison leaves IGN Entertainment
Narayan Pattison, publishing director of News Digital Media’s video games network IGN Entertainment, is leaving the company after a four-year stint to pursue a freelance writing career.
News Digital Media in the final stages of recruiting a country manager for IGN Entertainment Australia to replace Pattison. Ad sales manager John Allen is filling in as country manager for the meantime.
Pattison said: “Over the last four years we’ve doubled the audience on both sites and cemented IGN and AskMen as number 1 in their categories, both in Australia and globally. Even more importantly, I’m incredibly proud of the team we have. I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to continue innovating across IGN and AskMen for years to come.”
Pattison’s last day at IGN is 16 February.
IGN went from strength to strength with Narayan at the helm. Wish him the best of luck with his freelance writing.
