Natbuild launches first marketing campaign
Independent hardware buying group Natbuild will launch its first marketing campaign.
The announcement:
Natbuild, Australia’s biggest independent hardware and building supplies buying group, is set to launch its first fully co-ordinated national marketing campaign.
Until now, Natbuild has primarily operated as a buying group, representing 38 of the biggest brands in trade hardware including Dahlsens, Bowens, Hudson and Bretts.
In total the Natbuild group has over 150 outlets nationwide, with $1.8billion in predominately trade sales.
The Natbuild Big Builder Buys trade marketing program, created by retail agency Eleven Communications, will launch in July and August around Australia.
The campaign will focus on a trade catalogue which will be sent to over 60,000 active trade accounts, point of sale material and a major sales promotion giving trade customers the chance to win a big footy finals experience.
The campaign will also launch a new positioning line for Natbuild: “We buy bigger, you buy better.”
Natbuild Chief Executive, Frank Cordi, said the campaign was an important step in the development of the group.
“With the consolidation occurring in the Australian hardware industry recently, it is important that we start to harness the collective strength of our buying power and our members,” Mr Cordi said.
“We are the primary channel to the Australian trade hardware and building supplies market and it’s time that we fully leverage that position for the benefit of our members our suppliers and our trade customers.”
