Nathan Shipp to lead sales at Peer Group

Peer Group Media has hired ex News Limited staffer Nathan Shipp to lead its sales operation.

Nathan Shipp, ex GM of Entertainment at News Ltd has joined music and entertainment group, Peer Group Media as Director of Sales for Publishing.

After nine years at News Ltd, Shipp will head up digital sales for Peer Group Media’s entertainment network, which includes Australia’s fastest growing events and ticketing websitewww.eventfinder.com.au, now attracting over one million visitors a month across Australia and New Zealand.

Shipp will be based in Sydney and be responsible for leading a national sales drive with agencies, event promoters and government tourism bodies, to promote Peer Group Media’s growing portfolio of entertainment and event assets.

Shipp’s appointment follows the recent arrival of ex Fairfax sales strategist Sarah Maher, who is heading up client services in Peer Group Media’s Melbourne office.
