National Hearing Care appoints DDB Melbourne as creative agency

DDB Melbourne has won the creative account for National Hearing Care.

The win adds to the agency’s current client roster which includes Apia, Suncorp, Westpac, Fortywinks, Porsche and British Paints.

Kate Sterling, DDB Group Melbourne managing director said the agency will aim to raise awareness and normalise hearing loss and its treatment.

“There is a stigma around hearing loss and hearing aids, with most people suffering for an average of seven years before seeking help, missing out on conversations and isolating themselves from social situations.”

DDB’s appointment comes one month after National Hearing Care appointed Carat as its media agency of record.

Tim Naylor, marketing director at National Hearing Care, added: “National Hearing Care is committed to changing the way people view hearing loss, and so we were looking for not just an agency, but a partner that truly understood all our different customer touch points and shared the same vision of transforming the category. DDB were a stand out choice.”
