Neighbours seeks producer to take show into social media age

Neighbours is on the hunt for a producer to improve its digital presence.

According to an ad posted on Mumbrella, the ideal candidate will need the skills to take Australia’s longest running soap opera “into the new age of social and transmedia.”

Blogging and managing communities, the ability “to know a good story and be the voice of the fans” are also key to landing the job.

Neighbours, which Ten shifted to digital channel Eleven last year, was last night’s highest rating show on the channel, with 322,000 viewers.
