Neil Mitchell moves from Seven to Nine

3AW presenter Neil Mitchell has switched sides from Seven to Nine.

Mitchell, who dominates his Melbourne breakfast time slot with a 17.1% share, will be a regular commentator on Today, A Current Affair and Nine News.

It marks a change of allegiance for Mitchell who is still listed on Sunrise’s website as a member of the team and for three years was a regular on the “Kings of Talkback” segment on the show as recently as June 8.

According to the announcement from Nine’s MD Jeffrey Browne: “So often, it is Neil’s insightful questioning and exclusive interviews that sets the radio news agenda of the day. We are thrilled to welcome Neil to the family.”
