Nene King returns
Nene King, once one of Australia’s most celebrated magazine editors, is to return to publishing with an agony aunt column for Pacific Magazines’ New Idea.
King was among Australia’s most successful editors with titles including Australian Woman’s Weekly and Woman’s Day before illness and bereavment saw her leave the industry.
She tells today’s Sun-Herald she is well qualified for the agony aunt role. She said: “I’ve been through death, divorce, losing all your money, moving house, moving states, becoming very rich, becoming very poor.”
