Netball NSW appoints Rebecca Shaw and Lauren Woods as general managers

Netball NSW has appointed Rebecca Shaw as general manager for marketing, events and communications and named Lauren Woods as the new general manager for stakeholder relations.

Shaw had worked across communications and marketing for the last 14 years, most recently as general manager, consumer and marketing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants for five years.

Woods has joined Netball NSW after six years with Hockey NSW as member engagement and operations manager.

In her role, she oversaw Association developments including the Member Protection Policy, member databases and Government grants, and was responsible for a complete governance and policy overhaul projects.

Shaw commences her role on 27 March while Woods will join Netball NSW on 10 April filling deputy CEO Megan Simpson’s role as general manager of strategy and governance, which she left in January.

Zoe Samios worked at Mumbrella between 2016 and 2019, finishing up as senior media reporter in March 2019.
