Netflix removes Urban from agency roster

Streaming service Netflix has removed Urban from its agency roster.

Urban, which started life as an experiential agency although it has been pushing into a wider creative and strategy offering, was responsible for Netflix’s recent promotion of its television series Narcos

The US based company maintains a small roster of Australian agencies for local work.

303 MullenLowe’s media offering Mediahub handles media planning and buying for Netflix, which it won from incumbent agency MEC in May.

Social agency We Are Social is the only agency remaining with Netflix since it launched locally in 2014.

M&C Saatchi is also on the roster doing project work.

PR is handled by Ogilvy’s sister agency Pulse Communications

Urban and Netflix had not responded to Mumbrella’s inquiries at the time of publishing.
