New Balance appoints Mango Communications as PR agency of record
New Balance has named Mango Communications as its public relations agency of record for Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment comes following a competitive pitch process, with Mango now responsible for all of New Balance’s earned media relations, influencer and ambassador management.
“It’s with great pleasure we announce our partnership with Mango Communications. We were impressed by their focus on creativity throughout the pitch process and their understanding of the evolving PR landscape. We can’t wait to see the momentum they bring to our business,” New Balance marketing manager, Joel Hanlon, said.
Last year, Mango was added to a panel of PR agencies working with Tourism NT, and was appointed PR agency of record for GHD and Teachers Health. As Johnson & Johnson’s PR agency, Mango is also now working with the bespoke team drawn from across Omnicom, and led by DDB Group, for the company’s consolidated account.
Mango’s acting general manager, Alex Lefley, said: “Our partnership with New Balance recognises our integrated approach for clients with strategy and creativity at the heart of every campaign. We’re proud to be partnering with such an iconic brand and join them on their growth trajectory.”
