New Broome to lead Kellogg’s marketing

Kellogg’s has appointed former Goodman Fielder marketer John Broome as its new marketing director, Mumbrella can reveal.

Broome, who has also held marketing roles at Nestle and Reckitt Benckiser, starts on July 16.

He replaces Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, who moved with the company to a new role in China around five months ago.

Responsible for leading the marketing strategy across all Kellogg brands, Broome will head up a team of 30 marketing professionals across two offices in Sydney and Auckland and will inherit agencies JWT, Mindshare, Tongue, Loop and Liquid Ideas.

Broome said: “I’m delighted to be joining a company with the drive and ambition of Kellogg. It’s a company that strongly believes in brand building and the power of marketing so it’s a fantastic opportunity for me and I’m looking forward to joining the Kellogg Team”.
