New Central Coast luxury magazine launches

Central Coast Life and Style magazine has launched, published by Central Coast Belle Property principal Cathy Baker.

The announcement:

A new luxury magazine has launched on the Central Coast with the aim of tapping into the growing number of Sydneysiders spending time in the region, highlighting the Coast’s relaxed life and style, and celebrating the exciting changes occurring in the area as it enters an unprecedented boom phase brought on by the pandemic.

Central Coast Life and Style is published by Central Coast Belle Property Principal Cathy Baker who presides over the Coast’s prestige property market and said the magazine filled a gap at the top end of the market, with articles and advertisers geared towards aspirational locals and visitors.

“It’s an extraordinary time to be on the Coast. For years we have been seeing an influx of new residents moving here and driving incredible innovations in the local food and arts scene. Now the pandemic has pressed fast-forward on the regional migration with Sydneysiders leaving the city in droves as they make the most of the freedoms afforded by more flexible working arrangements. This ‘new normal’ has seen more people sharing their time between a Sydney residence and Central Coast weekender or leaving the big smoke behind entirely as they go in search of a better lifestyle – and it doesn’t get much better than the Central Coast lifestyle,” Cathy said.

In a coup for the magazine, model Elyse Knowles graces the cover of the launch summer issue in her first ‘bump’ cover shoot for a magazine since announcing her pregnancy earlier this year. The cover was shot at ‘Waters Edge’, a new $2700/night holiday home at Forresters Beach where Elyse enjoyed a recent babymoon.

As part of her cover story she spoke exclusively with Central Coast Life and Style about her pregnancy, how she unwinds on holiday and what she thinks of the Central Coast.

Each issue will include profiles on the local businesses and identities that are reshaping the Coast and making the region the ‘it’ place to live and visit, with the summer issue featuring the latest dining hot spots, the most luxurious ways to spend summer on the Coast and an interview with The Voice runner up Johnny Manuel who calls Terrigal home.

The magazine will be published quarterly with another Aussie A-Lister, who is enjoying a summer sojourn on the Coast, lined up for the cover of the autumn issue.
