New Labor attack ad focuses on what Tony Abbott would be tweeting if he won
A new attack ad by Labor suggests what Tony Abbott will be tweeting if the Coalition wins the election.
The ad begins with a tweet from @TonyAbbottPM declaring: “Just became Prime Minister. Getting ready for #power.”
It then shows tweets about changes supposedly implemented by an Abbott government.
“12,000 jobs cut. Wonder what’s for lunch? #hardwork”, the @TonyAbbottPM tweets.
“Thanks to @JoeHockey for #cancelling the school kids bonus,” he tweets.
Followed by: “Pre-G20 briefing. Figuring out who’s a goodie and who’s a baddie. Complex.”
The ad finishes by targeting the speeds of the Coalition’s NBN policy before telling the viewer: “You can stop this from happening. On September 7, Vote Labor.”

Labor are in dire need of defeat so they can push the reset button. They are damaging their brand with this suicide campaign. Self destruction.

patience @George.. its only 6 days to go till Utopia arrives. Then you won’t have any worries whatsoever.
eg: Electricity prices guaranteed to fall when the carbon tax is removed. Either that or perhaps the electricity companies will refer to “tough market conditions” as a reason why they cant pass on the savings to consumers..

Labor are out of control. I just looked back 4 years ago, 3 years ago, and a year ago.
4. Ms Gillard Said Kevin will lead us to the next election..
3 Kevin said I will lead Labor to the next election a week later Ms Gillard said no carbon tax under a govt I lead.
1 year ago Ms Gillard and everyone was calling Abbott Negative. I have not heard a single positive thing from labor this whole election. And just for the record I won’t be voting Abbott. But sheesh that doesn’t leave much…
Mark Latham appears to have been 3 years ahead of himself when he urged everyone to Donkey Vote!! I’m so tempted this time around!!

George, you are dead right. But Dudd has already self-destructed, I hope.

Labor are so desperate, this stuff is embarrassing. Do we know which agency came up with this bright idea?

Stupid, personal attacks on individuals always dangerous, that’s the exclusive territory of the populous, not corporations or political parties. Labor have made a classic blunder of playing the man, this is a great example of not undertsanding the market. Probaly done by the American tossers they commissioned to help them digitise themselves.

They have just confirmed their idiocy as the difference between Abbott and Rudd is that he probably wouldn’t be tweeting #toobusyfixingshitLaborbroke

Is there no limit to the depths this mob will sink to cling to power?

A clever way to demonstrate what might happen under the libs, the point is we don’t know what these cuts will be and the Austrslian population doesn’t seem to care. Why not use a clever devise to illustrate the ‘what if’ and try and make people engage or care?

Labor almost bankrupted Queensland and so newly elected premier Newman cut 8000 public service jobs. And guess what? The State’s now thriving with the unemployment rate actually falling. After 10 years of corrupt Labor hell in NSW ‘The Australian’ today reported the state is set to boom under the Liberals. Labor and Rudd have a scare campaign to hide their own utter ineptitude and incompetence. And yeah, Abbott probably will cut the public service – he doesn’t care, they don’t vote for him anyway. http://www.theaustralian.com.a.....6709602801

Kevin Rudd must think the Australian people are stupid, he let us sit through years of Gillard’s crap and now he’s Kevin the underdog, everyones mate?
He’s got more hide than a Elephants arse to ask for another crack at the top job.
Kleenex should run ads on Election Night, Kevin will need them!

A pseudo-tweet about just having to come up with the idea of an improved Workchoices 2.0 is in order. The deafening silence by the coalition on what is always their pet project should be frightening for all working Australians. Oh sorry. it will be announced 12 hours before voting begins, and will be claimed as a mandate later. Just wait and see.

1. Both parties have led personal attacks since 2010.
2. The quality of the personal attacks has varied.
3. Rudd is a problem and Abbott is a problem.
4. There are really policy differences and significances if you set aside the Coalition lies about supporting Gonski, Disability Care and the NBN
5. The mass media focus has been on personalities and gotcha moments instead of a real analysis of policies.
6. The hung parliament worked well – despite the Coalition and mass claims.

It’s not even up to undergraduate level. Proves the point the Coalition keeps making re needing grown ups in Canberra.

@ sharyn – we don’t need hypotheticals to know what Labour actually has done and it isn’t that flash; maybe people are afraid of a Coaltion mob wasting billions, losing integrity and breaking promises, trying to muzzle free speech and creating a vast Government monopoly in telcomms… and a debt we’ll be paying for years, so limiting reforms like disabilitycare and education …. wouldn’t that be awful.

Usually like reading comments, but this thread appears to be a game of spot the shill (of any persuasion).

Did anyone else notice that at the end of the video they started following @TonyAbottPM by changing the “Following” to Unfollow” indicating they were now following him.
Must know something we dont? That perhaps he is going to be PM?
