MasterChef titles to be published by Bauer

masterchef logoMasterchef has transferred its publishing allegiances from NewsLifeMedia to Bauer with the launch of a new series of recipe titles.

Masterchef Collectibles will be on sale June 24 to coincide with the launch of Masterchef season five. It will be a three-part series that focuses on recipes from past and present contestants, guest chefs and kitchen tips and tricks.

NewsLifeMedia closed Masterchef Magazine in October last year after falling sales.

Margie Bashfield, MasterChef Australia executive producer, said: “Ever since Adriano Zumbo’s Croquembouche in series one, viewers have aspired to extend their cooking skills in the home, and this new cookbook series enables them to do so.”

Gerry Reynolds, publishing director of Bauer Media, said: “Bauer Media is thrilled to be taking to market a whole new concept for MasterChef publishing. These three books encompass the very DNA of the series and are designed to be collectibles that the whole family can embrace. We are very proud to be evolving the MasterChef publishing offering with Shine Australia and Network Ten.”

Cookbook two, The Ultimate Entertainer, and cookbook three, The Ultimate MasterChef, will be published in the following months.
