New producer for Kyle & Jackie O Show

Sarah McGilvray is to step down from the executive producer role on Australia’s biggest commercial radio program, The Kyle & Jackie O Show, after two years at the helm.

She will be replaced by Gemma O’Neill – a former assistant to movie star Nicole Kidman – in the new role of breakfast content manager.

O’Neill is relocating from LA, where she has spent the last six years working as Kidman’s executive assistant and a creative executive for Kidman’s production company, Blossom Films.

Previously she produced 2Day FM’s ‘The Morning Crew’ with Wendy Harmer and Peter Moon before relocating to London to produce Jono Coleman’s breakfast show on Heart FM.

Producer Simon Greally has been promoted into the role of senior producer. Matt Simpson remains entertainment producer on the show and Bruno Bouchet recently joined as talent producer.

The show on Austereo’s 2day FM is Sydney’s top rated FM breakfast show , while it is also syndicated across the Today network as The Hour of Power from 6pm on weekdays.

Mumbrella understands that McGilvray will take a break before her next role.
