News.com.au appoints commercial content editor from UBank to drive native strategy
News.com.au has appointed its first commercial content editor, with UBank’s marketing campaign manager Caitlin Chander joining the news site to push its native content strategy.
Chander joins the company after just six months with Ubank. Previously she was in marketing roles with Dixon Advisory for two-and-a-half years.
A NewsLifeMedia spokesperson told Mumbrella the appointment was in line with market demand for commercially led content.
“It’s an exciting appointment and development of News.com.au’s commercial strategy,” they said.
Chander will be developing News.com.au’s native content marketing initiatives and integrated sales and editorial campaigns.
She is part of the commercial integration team.

Couldn’t agree more Luke, too much of this and consumers will just ignore OR be so suspicious if has an anti-brand effect…my wife and kids are (almost) at that point already.
