News Xtend partners exclusively with workplace training marketplace GO1

News Corp Australia’s digital marketing arm, News Xtend, has partnered exclusively with training platform GO1 to provide its customers with free corporate training.

News Corp Australia’s digital marketing agency News Xtend has announced an exclusive partnership with GO1.com, the world’s largest compliance, professional development and general training platform, to provide its customers with thousands of free corporate training courses on marketing and advertising, business and leadership, customer service and human resources.

In an effort to empower its client base, News Xtend customers will have access to over 500,000 courses and other learning items created by local and international experts, to be accessed anywhere, at any time on any device.

Lauren Moloney, News Corp Australia general manager, growth and customer commercialisation SMB, said News Xtend is continuously striving to help clients focus on their core expertise, while providing resources and tools to help them grow their business.

“Our research into the mindset of SMBs in the News Corp Brave are the Small Research Study in 2018, found the main challenges SMBs face include attracting and retaining customers, cost of overheads, managing cash flow, marketing costs and keeping up with innovation in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

“Training and upskilling employees is crucial to tackling these challenges head on and we’ve worked with GO1 to ensure News Xtend’s SMB customers have easy access to relevant courses, developed by some of the leading names in corporate training.

GO1.com CEO and co-founder Andrew Barnes said its training marketplace was the ideal tool to help SMBs grow their business. “We’re really excited to be working with News Xtend, particularly to help small- and medium-sized businesses with their workplace training needs,” Mr Barnes said.

Current GO1 customers include SEEK.com.au, Oxford University, State and local governments, including the Queensland government, and St John Ambulance.
