NewsLifeMedia today announced that the first issue of Taste.com.au magazine is on sale now across the country.

Taste.com.au magazine is an extension of the hugely successful Taste.com.au platform which in just six short years has become Australia’s number one food site. Brodee Myers-Cooke, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, is one of the most experienced editors in food publishing in this country.

Brodee Myers-Cooke said: “Taste.com.au magazine is food like you’ve never seen. Every issue features all new content purposely created for the magazine packed with great Aussie food for easy weeknights, lazy weekends, healthy twists and wow desserts.”

Taste.com.au magazine is a fully integrated magazine experience. It is immersive, active, interactive and addictive. Watch the pages of the magazine come to life with the free Blippar app, featuring new videos, how-to cooking demonstrations, additional recipes and fun photo-sharing templates.

An exceptional team of Australia’s most loved and respected chefs, foodies and personalities will appear every month delivering something unique to the magazine that reflects what they are well known for.

In the first issue of Taste.com.au magazine:

Each month, Manu Feildel will reveal the secrets of not-so-scary fine dining and will present his dream dishes for a romantic dinner for two. This month bring a bit of French romance to the table with Manu’s herb crusted rack of lamb.

Adriano Zumbo will call on Australia to try his stunt dish of the month. In the very first issue of Taste.com.au magazine, Adriano is releasing his take on the pastry craze that has swept through New York. Take a leap into the wonderful world of The Zonut!

Marion Grasby will lead readers step-by-step through her favourite recipes, revealing little known cooking secrets and introducing new dishes for the whole family. Marion reveals the secret to making spring rolls in the first issue.

‘Naughty & Nice’ sees Dublin born chef and restaurateur Colin Fassnidge go head-to-head with food and nutrition writer and cookbook author Louise Fulton Keats (who also happens to be Margaret Fulton’s granddaughter). This month, we asked Colin and Louise for their best fish fingers, one naughty, one nice, you choose!

Matt Preston will dive into classic dishes like mac ’n’ cheese and look at their past (where they came from), their present (what restaurants are doing with them now) and dial up the recipes next evolution. This month, Matt and Taste.com.au magazine food director Michelle Southan tackle a new hook for tuna mornay.

Take a cook with a fine dining resume and make the food casual and that’s what Darren Robertson will serve up in ‘Smart Casual’ every month. This talented chef from Three Blue Ducks believes food should be honest, uncomplicated and really tasty. In the first issue of Taste.com.au magazine, he dishes out the secrets for recipes that keep the locals coming back.
