Next Digital appoints Andrew Burke to CEO role

Next Digital has confirmed Andrew Burke as its new CEO.

This follows his appointment to Acting CEO in 2009.

The announcement:

Next Digital is excited to announce that Andrew Burke has been appointed as CEO.

Andrew has been in the role of Acting CEO since mid 2009, following Next Digital’s acquisition by d2 Marketing and the move of previous CEO and business founder Arthur Spanos, into a strategic new business role.

Joining Next Digital in 1999, Andrew has extensive experience across all facets of the company’s business. Over the past decade he has worked in project management, digital consulting and has also led the agency’s account service team, managing a significant number of Next Digital’s principal client relationships.

In 2005 as part of his role as Account Service Director Andrew became a member of the executive management team responsible for leading the business.

According to d2 Marketing Executive Chairman Roger Sharp, Andrew’s deep experience with the business, his motivated approach and understanding of the future direction of the business were key considerations in the decision.

“We are excited about the appointment of Andrew to the position of CEO and look forward to his leadership and drive in moving the Next Digital business forward,” said Mr Sharp.
