Nick Zonnios swaps Clemenger Group agencies as new director of CHEP PR
General manager of Clemenger PR, Nick Zonnios has moved within Clemenger Group, appointed as director of CHEP PR, Mumbrella can reveal.
While at Clemenger BBDO, Zonnios established the Clemenger PR team, which he led over the past five years. His remit will be overseeing the growth and development of CHEP PR nationally.
Melanie Campbell was appointed as Zonnios’ replacement at Clemenger two weeks ago.
Working with clients ANZ, CUB, Doritos, Barbie, Flybuys, Officeworks, Origin Energy and Telstra, Zonnios has developed a reputation for leading PR projects for a variety of clients. This included leading comms for campaigns including the ANZ transformation to GAYNZ during Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, VB Tea, Melbourne’s Let’s Melbourne Again COVID recovery campaign, the VB Solar Exchange, and recently, the CHEP 7-Eleven coffee body scrub.
CEO of CHEP Network, Justin Hind said: “Nick is a highly accomplished communications professional and we’re overjoyed that he has made the decision to join CHEP. We’re excited to see Nick grow the team and take our offering to a new level.”
Zonnios said: “The CHEP team are a brilliant bunch – they’re talented, nice and overwhelmingly intelligent. I’m looking forward to contributing to the culture, work and ongoing success of the business and its clients as they continue to go from strength to strength.”
Zonnios joined Clemenger from Dentsu’s Haystac at the start of 2017.
CHEP Network has delivered a strong start to the year, following up its rebrand, winning the creative remit for Officeworks last month. CEO Justin Hind appeared on the Mumbrellacast this month, discussing the progression under his watch, competing against consultancies, and different client relationships.
