Stamper will also be part of the group marketing leadership team, run by Lizzie Young.

With the change, Terry Stuart has also been promoted, taking over the responsibility of leading the publicity team as communications manager – Melbourne. He’ll be part of the wider Nine communications team under Victoria Buchan.

Both Stuart and Stamper have been with Nine for many years, with Buchan thanking both for their extensive work at Nine in a letter sent to staff.

“I want to congratulate Michelle on this new expanded role and I know she will really make a difference and have a big impact on the success of our business in that market across all our brands,” said Buchan.

“Terry is a great asset to our business, his knowledge and experience will ensure the comms team nationally gets well represented in that market.

“Congratulations Terry and I know you will be a great leader to the team there.”

Stamper’s role will cover the development and execution of local marketing strategies, with a goal of amplifying the work of the network marketing team for Nine in Melbourne and 3AW, as well as The Age.
