Nine locks in major partners for Paris 2024

Nine has locked in its exclusive premium partners for Paris 2024, with discussions continuing with brands still looking for sponsorship opportunities.

Toyota, Woolworths, Harvey Norman, and NRMA Insurance will be the major partners for Nine’s broadcast of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which the network is claiming will be “the most successfully executed brand platform in Australia” for a Games.

With just six months remaining to the start of the Games, Nine is predicting its coverage of the Games will reach 98% of Australians across total television, total audio, and total digital publishing media, with around 10,000 hours of content during Paris 2024 airing across linear stations and 9Now.

“No other media company in Australia can reach all Australians like Nine can,” said Nine’s chief sales officer, Michael Stephenson.

“Nine’s Olympic and Paralympic Games coverage will not just be world class, but world leading, and we are thrilled to partner with some of the biggest brands to ignite the Olympic spirit, engage and connect Australians like never before.

“With Gangwon 2024 beginning, Australians will start to see integrated campaigns rolled out on our Road to Paris and we are excited to share the athletes’ journeys as they strive for Olympic glory. It’s going to be the biggest spectacle Aussies have ever witnessed.”

NRMA Insurance CEO Julie Batch said: “This year is particularly special for NRMA Insurance as we begin celebrating our 100th year helping Australians.

“Nine’s broadcast of the Olympic Games, one of the world’s most iconic and loved sporting events, is the ideal platform for us to celebrate this milestone for our leading and trusted Australian brand.”

Nine is finalising discussions with brands for the sponsorship tier, which will be announced over the coming months.
