Nine wins another ratings week, and remains ahead in year-to-date shares

With just three weeks remaining in the official OzTAM ratings calendar, Nine has won another survey week.

Its primary channel had a 20.5% share to Seven’s 16.8%, and Ten’s 11.3%.

Nine is on track to win the ratings year

With the addition of multi-channels, the Nine Network had 30.5% to Seven’s 27.2%, and Ten’s 17.2%.

The ABC’s primary channel had 11.9%, and the network 16.8%. SBS had 5.2% and 8.3%

In the survey year to date – which started on 10 February and had two weeks off over Easter – Nine Network is leading with a progressive year-to-date share of 29.6%, ahead of Seven’s 29.2% in total people. Network Ten has 17.2%, while the ABC has 16.3%, and SBS 7.7%.

Despite placing third for the week, Ten did manage to secure the most-watched program, with Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup. Last Sunday’s The Block on Nine placed second.

Nine is banking on tonight’s final episode of The Block pulling even bigger numbers.

This week will also see the conclusion of The Bachelorette on Ten on Thursday evening.

The following graphic was compiled by Nine, based on OzTAM data. It excludes ABC and SBS viewing, meaning percentage numbers will not match the numbers referred to above.
