NRL celebrates the fans and the game in campaign from MJW
The NRL is encouraging fans to join NRL clubs and get their children to play the sport from a young age in a new campaign launched over the weekend.
Created by MJW, the campaign aims to convey how the NRL connects and unites fans, families and communities at every level of the game.
The first commercial features NRL players paying tribute to the members of each club telling them they do notice them in the crowd, with the message “You’re the difference”.
Targeting the future stars of the game, the second ad aims to encourage boys and girls to join their local club. It features Roosters player Jared Waerea-Hargreaves talking about his introduction to the sport, his narration overlaid with images of children from different backgrounds playing.

at what point did promoting this game become so bloody earnest and serious?? For a game that provides an escape to so many, it is tragic that they act like they were selling insurance in all but the anticipation spot which at least has some elements of excitement in it.. no wonder the crowds are crap
