Nuffnang launches tool to speed up blogger engagement process
Nuffnang, the blogging network, has launched a platform to enable PR, creative and media agencies to more easily connect with bloggers.
Called Product Talk, the platform allows agencies to engage with those in Nuffnang’s community of 3,500 bloggers who’ve opted in to write about new products and services. Agencies can insert a thread into one of Nuffnang’s working forums, alerting bloggers to upcoming briefs.
David Krupp, country manager for Nuffnang Australia, said the platform would save agencies time and resources “by avoiding the traditional month long process of submitting individual pitches to bloggers for their clients in the hope of a product or service review”.
The platform had already attracted interest from agencies representing brands in the beauty, FMCG and retail sectors, Krupp added.
Slow news day? This looks like an average PR release given a leg up because it’s just so 2.0! Must try harder!

“3,500 bloggers who’ve opted in to write about new products and services”
Can anyone clarify – have they also opted in to disclose when they’re being paid to write about these new products and services?

Hi Devil’s advocaat,
I can clarify this. For greater transparency, Nuffnang requires that posts include the text ”Product Talk by Nuffnang” and is linked back to a page on our website which defines what the initiative is all about. As this is not a paid sponsored post, this shows readers that this post was made through Nuffnang’s Product Talk and that they have received an item in exchange for a review.
