Nunn Media creates digital director role, hires Havas Media talent

Independent media agency, Nunn Media, has appointed Jennifer Olmi to the newly created role of digital director in Sydney.

Olmi joins from Havas Media where she was senior digital associate director. In her new role, Olmi will be working across the agency’s portfolio of clients to ensure all aspects of digital activity are integrated across its brands.

Chris Walton, managing director at Nunn Media, said: “Jennifer has a strong strategic understanding of digital channels and how advertisers can best use them to grow their brands and deliver returns on their investment. As our client roster continues to expand, she will bring her expertise to further strengthen our digital media capabilities.”

On her appointment, Olmi said: “I’m delighted to be joining Nunn Media and look forward to working with the team and its clients to drive their digital media objectives. As an independent, Nunn has built an enviable service and results-driven reputation and I’ll be playing my part to build on that success.”

Olmi will be reporting to the Sydney head of digital, Pete Wilson.

Her departure from Havas Media comes at a time of change for the network, with several senior appointments being made recently. This includes the appointment of Alastair Baker to head of client strategy and planning yesterday, as well as Francis Coady being promoted to CMO earlier this year, and Virginia Hyland becoming CEO in late 2020.

Before working at Havas Media, Olmi worked at Coty for three years where she gained experience with a range of brands including Gucci, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Tiffany & Co., Rimmel and Covergirl, managing digital activity.

Nunn Media Sydney was appointed last month to manage all of Phillip’s water portfolio, following a pitch process, which will include all media strategy, planning and buying for the entire water solutions portfolio.

Nunn Media said that other business wins are soon to be announced.

The agency’s client list also includes JB HiFi, GMHBA, Amart, 13CABS, American Tourister, Godfreys, Amcal, Bendigo Bank, and Smile Direct Club.
