Of timewarps and billionaires

The devil may have the best tunes, but so far this election, Labor’s had the funniest ads.  

First there was The Abbott Family, created by the Australian Workers Union.

Then there’s been the series of ads from ex Chaser Charles Firth satirising hard-up mining billionaires. This one, The Mandate, funded by the CFMEU union, will get a run on free to air television:

And the Labor Party itself has been joining in, with this reworking of The Time Warp, from the Rocky Horror Picture Show:

In an otherwise remarkably dull advertising election, thank God for YouTube.
