Ogilvy Melbourne promotes Danielle Chapman to managing partner

Ogilvy Melbourne has promoted Danielle Chapman to managing partner after spending three years as a group account director.

In her new role as managing partner, Chapman will be working on expanding the agency’s capabilities to create personalised solutions for its clients, across creative, data and technology.

As group account director Chapman worked on both the BMW and Mini accounts. In her new role, she will continue to lead the Mondelez creative account.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, Chapman was a senior account director at CHE Proximity and group account director at Publicis Mojo.

Chapman’s promotion marks the expansion of the Melbourne office’s leadership team, six months after it promoted Gavin MacMillan and Michael McEwan from managing partners to managing directors.

Gavin MacMillan, said in a statement: “We are truly excited about Dan joining our Leadership Team. She has built a reputation as being creatively driven but also commercially minded. Combined with exceptional human and leadership qualities, this makes her a great asset to have on our team.”

McEwan, added: “We believe Dan will add great value not only to our leadership team but to the agency as a whole. She has great empathy and understanding towards the needs of our clients and great rapport with all our people. This is a much-deserved promotion.”
