Reprise appoints Starcom alumni as head of strategy and client advisory director
Reprise, the media marketing unit of IPG Mediabrands, has appointed Marcelo Andrade as national head of strategy, and Jodie Palmer as Adelaide’s client advisory director.
Both come from Starcom to fill the newly created positions, created following what Reprise referred to as a “flurry” of business wins.
Andrade moves across from Starcom Sydney, where he was head of strategy, working with clients including Samsung, Visa and Subaru. Before that, he was digital strategy director at OMD for the McDonald’s account, and has also worked as regional digital director at McCann Worldgroup Latin America and a lecturer at Sydney’s Miami Ad School.
“We are delighted that Marcelo’s talents and experience fit our criteria for this vital role. More importantly, his values of curiosity, focus on outcomes and integrated thinking fit well with Reprise’s ambitions,” said Dr Grace Liu, CEO.
Palmer will lead Reprise’s relationship with the South Australian government, having previously been in a senior client strategy role at Starcom Adelaide.
“Bringing Jodie’s experience and expertise to our Adelaide-based business not only signals our commitment to growth in South Australia but also sets a new level of capability and leadership in this important growth market,” said Dr Liu of the appointment.
Both begin in their new roles immediately.
Reprise Australia have won three new clients this year: Artline, Monash University and the Government of South Australia.
