Ogilvy Sydney unveils new management team
Ogilvy & Mather Sydney has unveiled a new management team following several promotions which includes group client services director, Richard Carr moving to the new role of general manager.
Carr, who has been with the Sydney agency since 2002, will focus on driving new business and also continue to provide client relationship management across the group, which incorporates OgilvyOne, Neo@Ogilvy and Ogilvy Sydney.
In other new appointments, Elizabeth Beatty, previously OgilvyOne executive director has been promoted to head of the direct and digital agency. It was previously led by MD, Iian Good who left in October last year.
Chris James, who joined Ogilvy in March as the group’s digital creative director, will extend his role to include more management responsibilities and take on the new title of head of digital.
Meanwhile, Penny Davy, Neo@Ogilvy media director, will widen her remit and move to the role of communications strategy for the Ogilvy Sydney group.
Mike Daniels, who was appointed Ogilvy Sydney’s managing director in March, remains in his role.
The agency is part of STW Group, Australia’s largest marketing communications group.
