OMD promotes Jarrett into new GM role
OMD has promoted group business director Mark Jarrett to the new role of Sydney general manager following the elevation of managing partners Leigh Terry and Peter Horgan to the roles of joint national managing directors.
The top-level changes have been prompted by the departure of OMD chief executive Mark Coad who now heads up advertising agency CHE.
Jarrett, who currently handles the McDonald’s and Johnson & Johnson accounts, will take up his new position on March 1 and will report to Terry and Horgan. Jarrett will take responsibility of running the Sydney office and lead its business directors.
Dan Sinfield, currently business director on the St George account, will take over Jarrett’s old role, while Mark Griffiths will take on St George.
Jarrett has been at OMD Australia for four years and was previously at sister Omnicom agency Manning Gottlieb OMD in the UK.
congratulations Mark
