OMD takes clients speed dating for showcase event

Brisbane OMD clients were taken on a series of ‘speed dates’ with media partners to propose solutions to solving their business challenges.

11 media clients attended and offered a deeper understanding of their offerings to over 20 clients.

Natalie Harvey, Brisbane sales director for Seven West Media said the event was an innovative way to showcase the Seven West Media ecosystem and their “ability to help solve client challenges and spark media and category first ideas”.

The inaugural media partner event followed a similar format to the ones held in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Rob Swinton, OMB Brisbane managing director said “the event in Brisbane is testament to our continued focus on lifting the bar on how we engage with media owners and clients alike”.

Rebecca Lawrie, Brisbane director of sales for the Nine Entertainment Co said “Not only was it a unique experience in the sense of speed dating alongside other networks, but also gave everyone a chance to put their best foot forward in under five minutes to make a lasting impression and hopefully score a second date with the client and agency. An event like this generates such positive energy which can only lead to extraordinary results from here”.
