I think it’s cute. But it’s really just a fun little project for two young kids who look to be freshly in love. They’ve haven’t really tried to capture the spirit of the lipdub by the look of it (only two of them singing, haven’t done it in one shot) so I don’t think it should be judged in that context.
Now get back to work, OMD.

Vinny – glee isnt a reality show thats been put on tv to launch nobodies. In its first season it won both a golden globe and an emmy award. Its albums and singles have topped the charts around the world and has now been so wildly successful that there is a live international tour.
I hate to burst your “im too cool for school” bubble, but there is a reason that pop music and pop culture is called just that….because its popular!
That doesnt mean u have to like it no, but if you are going to hate on people like an angstful teenager then at least have the courage to put your name to your opinions and not hide behind some cowardly alias.
I agree with Sam and I thought it was fun. Couple of kids havin a crack, good on them ! Takes guts to do it knowing they’re likely to get lambasted on sites like this.
It’s not hating at all, it’s just freaking corny, you’ve gotta meet me halfway there, Oh-defenders-of-all-things-song-and-dance. I’ve no doubt as to the merits of Glee and yes, I watch the Emmys and Golden globes too. And yes – I was entertained, but it’s still schmaltzy schlopp. That’s half the reason they chose it I imagine. I’m not too cool at all but I still don’t have to like it. Was directed here by a co-worker and invited to leave my comment. When I put it out there, I’ll expect plenty to mock me too.
Oh, and yes, they are very, very cute together and it’s a great performance, is that better?
