OMG Australia maintains top spot in industry report
Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Australia has maintained the top spot in the latest COMvergence Media Agency Billings and Market Share Report for the fourth consecutive year.
Published earlier this month, the 2024 report includes a review of 22 holding group agencies and seven independents.
OMG has continued its stronghold of the number one position since the inception of the report in 2020, crediting capability, structure, client resourcing, and its high retention rate across large international and local clients for maintaining its market-leading position.
OMG ANZ CEO Peter Horgan said the capability OMG has across its wealth of brands continues to cement its number one position in the market.
“Sustaining this leadership position for four years is a testament to our focus on delivering the highest level of service and innovation for our clients, our market-leading Omni platform and of course underpinned by the strength and diversity of our people,” Horgan said.
OMG continues to dominate the industry with a series of impressive achievements across its agencies.
CHEP won Australia’s only gold at the Global Caples Awards, along with three silvers and a bronze; Resolution Digital welcomed myPlates and El Jannah; Hearts & Science expanded its skills and services after merging with Foundation.
In addition, PHD secured the McCain and AFL media accounts and retained Singapore Airlines, and ANZ; OMD topped the latest COMvergence Billings Rankings and Market Share report, leading by $295M over its nearest competitor.
OMG’s success is also being replicated at a global level, emerging from the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as the most honoured media holding company, earning the highest combined total of Lions awards (including two Grand Prixes) and short-list placements, more than any other global media group.
