Jodie Couzens becomes chief operations officer of One Green Bean and Host

Public relations agency One Green Bean and creative agency Host have promoted Jodie Couzens to chief operating officer of the two Havas-majority-owned companies.

Couzens is now the COO of Host, One Green Bean and the agencies’ influencer platform Co-Maker. Previously, she was the director of operations at both Host and One Green Bean for almost three years.

Couzens joined Host in 2005

She joined Host in 2005 as an account director before being promoted to business director and then experiential director.

Chairman of Havas Group Australia and New Zealand, Anthony Freedman, said: “Jodie and I started working together in 2005 and over the 12 years since, she has taken on an almost endless list of different challenges and smashed them all.

“I am delighted to announce Jodie as chief operating officer of Host, One Green Bean and Co-Maker – it’s long overdue. Jodie was acknowledged for the amazing contribution she makes with a befitting title.”

In June, Freedman was appointed as the chairman of Havas Group Australia and New Zealand, overseeing the agency’s Sydney, Melbourne, and Media arms along with One Green Bean and the Red Agency.

Freedman co-founded One Green Bean in 2007 and creative agency Host in 2000. Havas acquired a 51% stake in the agencies in 2011.
