Consumer public relations firm One Green Bean has taken the head of digital Claire Van Heyningen from fellow Havas agency Host as its digital client service director as part of a series of new hires.

The agency has also hired Joy Leaper, former group account director of Liquid Ideas, as an associate business director, and Pia Chaudhuri, a former senior creative at AnalogFolk, to be its associate creative director.

“We work with clients with an appetite for multi channel ideas, enlisting us as either creative lead or close agency collaborator.  Digital innovation is front and central.  Having brilliant people onboard is the only way for us to deliver this, we’re proud to have such a talented bunch in these roles,” said Matt Buchanan, managing director of One Green Bean in a statement.

The appointments come after a series of wins this year, including Mondelez, OPSM, Carnival Cruise Lines, Heineken and Meat and Livestock Australia last week.

Van Heyningen had headed up Host’s digital offering since September 2012, and before that had worked for Holler and Lavender in various digital roles.

Leaper will head up Westfield and Pernod Ricard Winemakers accounts after following four years Liquid Ideas leading Kellogg’s, Taylor’s Wines & Unilever.

Chaudhuri will work across a broad portfolio of One Green Bean’s clients including CommBank, Virgin Mobile and Carnival Cruise Lines.

The agency’s divisional heads Matt Kendall and Katie Graham have also been promoted to the positions of digital strategy director and strategy director, respectively.

One Green Bean CEO Anthony Freedman said: “Host and One Green Bean’s strong ‘sister agency’ relationship is one built around collaboration and partnership.  We’re thrilled to see Claire stay within the group as she moves across after a brilliant four years at Host.”
