One Green Bean picks up Jetstar and Playstation PR accounts

jetstarOne Green Bean has been appointed as the lead PR agency for both Jetstar and Playstation, with the two wins following on from the agency’s double recruitment coup of Carl Ratcliff and Claire Salvetti announced at the end of February, Mumbrella can reveal.

One Green Bean will work across the airline’s brand marketing and public relations.

Jetstar head of marketing and PR Liz McCarthy said in a statement: “We were extremely impressed by One Green Bean’s strategic insights, creative thinking, expertise in social-led campaigns and innate understanding of our brand. We’re excited about working with a passionate team that has an outstanding reputation for delivering creative work with proven commercial impact.”

One Green Bean founder and executive creative director Kat Thomas said: “The team at Jetstar really get who we are, our approach and recognise there’s a big opportunity to further integrate their PR and content strategy. It’s an exciting brief, we’re looking forward to working together.”

One Green Bean has also replaced Hausmann Communications as the lead PR agency for Playstation.

Sony Computer Entertainment head of marketing communications Larissa Hazel said: “Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has enjoyed a long and successful PR partnership with Hausmann Communications and we would like to thank the Hausmann team for their hard work and dedication.

“As the PlayStation business in Australia evolves, both partners have agreed that the time is right for a change and so we would like to welcome the One Green Bean team to the PlayStation account.”

At the end of February, it was revealed the agency had appointed Naked Communications CEO Carl Ratcliff to the newly created role of CEO and Mango Sydney managing director Claire Salvetti as managing partner.

One Green Bean clients include Woolworths, Coca-Cola, Nike, Lego and Ben & Jerry’s.
