One Green Bean wins Westfield PR account after competitive pitch

GreenOne Green Bean has won the national public relations account for shopping centre group Westfield following a two-month competitive pitch process.

The account win sees the agency take the lead on all national consumer PR activity for Westfield, which has 39 centres across Australia.

The agency will have a team of eight people assigned to work on the business, reporting to Westfield public relations manager, Anita Sulentic and general manager of marketing, Sarah Cleggett.

In a statement, Cleggett said: “We are very excited to start our partnership with One Green Bean. Their strategic insights and thinking, creativity and passion make them the perfect fit for Westfield. ”

The account will be led by One Green Bean managing director, Matt Buchanan and business director, Lauren Bailey.

“We’re thrilled to have been appointed as Westfield’s PR agency and have the opportunity to work with such an iconic Australian brand, an inspiring in-house team and Westfield’s other agency partners. We look forward to making a real commercial difference to Westfield’s business during what is a significant time for the retail sector,” said Buchanan.

Earlier this month One Green Bean underwent a repositioning and brand refresh. It has also won the social media accounts for Woolworths and Coca Cola South Pacific this year.

Update: Baker Brand retains the Westfield’s fashion business, despite the consumer PR account moving from Haystac to One Green Bean.
