Online betting company dials back Tom Waterhouse’s presence in new ad
Online betting company Tom Waterhouse.com has launched a new campaign that captures the excitement of the Spring Racing Carnival with an ad that only gives former owner Tom Waterhouse a few moments of screen time.
Created by Fenton Stephens, the ad follows the Tom Waterhouse styling of black and white with the only colour the green company branding.
While previously Waterhouse fronted and voiced over the adverts the latest execution has only passing shots of the now managing director Tom Waterhouse, with another male voice taking care of the ad’s voice over.
Launched this week, the campaign is running throughout coverage of AFL and NRL as both codes head towards the finals.
The 45-second brand spot is sported with shorter 30-second and 15-second executions as well as retail offers. The company is also set to strategically release further promotional elements of the campaign in the coming weeks.

It’s blood money, whatever way you cut it,taking on these gambling companies.
If you want to see why visit a betting shop out west.Worse if you could see within the darkened loungerooms of the one bedroom flats mid afternoon as the computer flickers onto Betfair.
So bloody sad.
