Ooh Media bucks industry trend and records revenue growth

Out-of-home media company Ooh Media has recorded half-yearly revenue growth of 19 per cent bucking the current industry trend.

Despite figures from the Outdoor Media Association showing a 13.5 per cent fall in media revenue in the first half of the year, Ooh Media saw an increase in revenue to $37.1 million.

Ooh CEO Brendon Cook said while all products had delivered revenue increases the retail and regional products had performed particularly well.

“We are seeing more confidence in the market with some booking times extending from weeks back to months,” Cook said.

He added: “While the market is still relatively soft compared to previous years, forward orders are very encouraging and with our new advertising offers we are well placed to further increase market share.”
