Optus head of fixed product Sue Bailey handed interim marketing duties at telco
Optus head of fixed product Sue Bailey will take over the brand and marketing duties at the telco while a permanent successor is found for Nathan Rosenberg.
The company said an “extensive executive search” is underway for the brand and communications role vacated by Rosenberg, who left at the end of October, with Bailey appointed on an interim basis.
All three major telcos are currently without a marketing chief with Telstra yet to name a replacement for Mark Buckman while Kim Clarke last week announced she is quitting Vodafone.
Bailey was chief executive of Virgin Mobile Australia for three years from 2010 and has been working at Optus since late 2013. She took the head of fixed product role following the departure of Martin Mercer earlier this year.
She is responsible for fixed phone and broadband services, including the National Broadband Network, for consumers and small and medium sized businesses.
