Optus offers customers a 12-month subscription to Apple Music

Optus has entered into a partnership with Apple Music to offer new customers a 12-month subscription to the music streaming platform.

The announcement:

Optus customers can now enjoy over 50 million songs anytime, by signing up for an exclusive subscription offering of up to 12 months of Apple Music free with various Optus plans.

Apple Music offers subscribers an incredible catalogue of over 50 million songs, combined with their entire existing iTunes library, which they can stream or download for offline listening all completely ad-free. Subscribers can also create their own playlists or discover new ones curated by Apple Music, and share music with their friends. In addition, they also get daily personalised music recommendations, access to radio stations from every genre, exclusive music videos, lyrics and more. Apple Music also includes Beats 1, a global live stream of today’s best new music with special shows hosted by some of the world’s most fascinating people – everyone from Drake, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and Nicki Minaj to Kendall Jenner, Virgil Abloh and more.

The trial offer from Optus will be available to new and re-contracting Optus customers who purchase and remain on various Optus post-paid mobile plans. Once activated, Optus customers will have full access to Apple Music and can either stream their favourite songs over the Optus network, WiFi, or download for offline playback.
