Optus teams up with Qantas in customer loyalty drive
Optus has forged a customer loyalty alliance with Qantas. The deal will see Optus small business customers earn Qantas frequent flyer rewards.

Optus today announced plans to create a loyalty alliance with Qantas which will see Optus consumer and small and medium business customers earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points for their Optus products and services. The proposed alliance will enhance Optus’ existing rewards programs and will launch in the second half of 2011.
As a result, Optus will become the only telecommunications provider to reward consumer and small and medium business customers with the ability to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points for its products and services.Paul O’Sullivan, Optus Chief Executive said, “With this exciting new alliance, Optus will be able to further reward and thank its consumer and small business customers for making Optus their number one choice for telco services. Our aim is to provide customers with greater choice and a better experience by enabling them to earn points towards a huge range of rewards such as travel, accommodation, shopping and entertainment.”
