Optus has put a big budget behind Fetch TV

Optus has continued its huge investment in marketing in recent months with the launch of six new ads promoting its Fetch TV service.

The brand has changed the promotional line for Fetch TV from ‘Optus TV with Fetch’ to ‘Yes TV by Fetch’ in the campaign which promotes the breadth of content on the platform.

The campaign features several different approaches, including and overarching “You want entertainment?” ad and a series of shorter, 15-second treatments: “You want explosions?”; “You want bad guys?”; and “You want powerful women?”.

The ads lead with the line “Can I get everything I want in entertainment?”

A spokesperson for Optus said the campaign was aimed at highlighting the telco’s move into entertainment.

With our brand continually evolving, there are new brand treatments in market which reflect our shift into entertainment – and ‘Fetch TV by Optus’ marketing is a good example of that,” the spokesperson said.
