OzTAM announces two new appointments and internal promotions as it prepares for VOZ
Measurement company OzTAM has announced two new appointments and the expansion of two further internal positions as it prepares for the upcoming launch of Virtual Australia (VOZ), which will become Australia’s new TV reporting standard.
Alan Heng will take on the newly created role of technical services manager, supporting the development and delivery of OzTAM’s core services, and helping the business prepare for VOZ.

Heng will report to OzTAM’s director of technical services Sylvano Lucchetti, focusing on data integration, systems and services development, and operational systems support. Heng joins from Connected Digital where he was a tech and performance lead. He has also worked in programmatic partnerships, strategy and ad operations at businesses including Freewheel, SBS, XAXIS, AD2ONE and Sensis Media Smart.
Mitchell Woods will also join OzTAM, in the new position of product manager. This role will see him support VPM and VOZ product marketing, user interface and product specification and development in a stakeholder relations role.
Woods was most recently a senior account manager at Switch Media and brings experience in product management strategies, solutions and partnerships in digital media, ad tech, streaming and software development. He has also worked at Nine and Universal Music Australia.
Woods will report to Adrian Vasile, who has been promoted to general manager, products, which will see his role encompass product strategy, new product development and stakeholder communications. He has been with OzTAM since October 2018.
Also taking on additional roles is Lillian Zrim, who will ad VOZ launch support to her existing role as research and marketing manager. She currently works in research and business development, alongside research and business development manager, Jacinta Mutukisna.
Vasile, Lucchetti, Zrim and Mutukisna report to OzTAM CEO, Doug Peiffer, who said: “OzTAM is enhancing the team as our service expands – notably with the introduction of daily audience data for BVOD services, and as we work towards the introduction of VOZ Total TV reporting in Q1 2020.
