Pac Mags appoints Bride To Be editor

Pacific Magazines has drafted OK!’s  Sarah Gawthorne into the role of editor for Bride To Be.  

The announcement:

Monday 19th July 2010 – Pacific Magazines has announced Sarah Gawthorne as editor, Bride to Be.

Gabrielle Cardwell, Associate Publisher, Bride to Be, comments, “Sarah’s creativity and expertise will bring new opportunities for the Bride to Be brand, as the country’s leading bridal authority.

“The next 12 months herald an exciting phase in the development of Bride to Be – and we are delighted to have Sarah at the masthead’s helm.”

Sarah Gawthorne joins from OK! magazine where she most recently held the position of Lifestyle and Special Projects Director. Other previous roles include Features Editor, Cleo, Features Director, Glamour and as a producer / researcher at the Nine Network. Sarah Gawthorne adds, “From the pages of the magazine, online – and now to a product delivered to readers’ own homes via the online retail site, shop.bridetobe.com.au – Bride to Be brings style and inspiration to Australian brides’ wedding day.

“The magazine plays a unique role in a very special period in Australian brides’ lives and I’m thrilled to be on board.”

Sarah replaces Amelia Bloomfield, who is relocating to Byron Bay with her family.
